Experimenty v Matlab-AimSun toolboxu

Při návrhu řídicích algoritmů v dopravě je velmi žádoucí si jejich funkčnost ověřit. Aby se nemusel dopravní inženýr utápět ve zdrojových kódech, ve kterých by specifikoval testované oblasti a příslušné náležitosti, nabízíme mu otevřený systém založený na Matlabu a simulátoru Aimsun.

3D Image Analysis in medicine using Texture Features.

Research in 3D medical image analysis is presented. Haralick texture features generalized to 3D are used. Features are modelled in multi-dimensional space by Gaussian mixture model. Learning is made by EM-algorithm. For decision-making,   MAP estimate is used.

Při zpracování datových záznamů vzniká často problém chybějících dat. V případě časových řad se chybějící data dají interpolovat různými technikami. Jedná-li se o nezávislé datové záznamy, tento přístup nelze použít a takový záznam je obvykle ze zpracování vyřazen.

Preliminary considerations related to the advantages and problems of EnKF techniques application in the field of environmental pollution modelling will be formulated. Necessity of proper discrimination between model errors and forecast errors will be pointed out.

First experimental results of closed loop between Aimsun and the new HRD traffic controller.

I will discuss the current state of the HRD traffic controller that is being developed at the department. I will present an overview of its modular structure, stress where it offers interfaces for possible extensions. Finally I will show you an example of experimental setup using HRD to control the Aimsun traffic simulator.

Bayesian Model Averaging for Adaptive Control

Adaptive control of a rolling mill involves predicting the output thickness of the material being rolled, and adjusting control parameters to make it as close as possible to a target value. The computational time used must be short. Several measurements and control parameters are available for prediction, and we consider a linear regression approach that includes interactions between variables.
